People want and they think they need / and carry on but they still don’t see / All things are not what they seem to be (They ask) / why does God hide his face from me? / Ever seeing but yet are blind / exchange the truth of God for a lie / Ever hearing but still don’t know / this world cannot give comfort to your soul

Get out of bed it’s yet another day / Sometimes it takes real effort just to pray / Our human nature is very strong  (we ask) / why does God have to take so long? / Is no one righteous no not even one / Both hands are skilled in what should not be done / Men lie in wait the best of them conspire / There is no peace in feeding vain desires

There will be trials in this life when things don’t go as planned.
This old world is closing in and it’s getting hard to stand.
Sometimes you feel all alone and you know you need someone.
Sometimes you feel like crying, stop the world I want to get off.

When you feel you’re all alone, He’s got you in His hand.
It’s one of those days when there’s just one set of Footprints in the sand.
When you know you need someone, He’ll carry you in hand.

When you feel that all is lost and your heart cries out in pain.
He can help you bear that cross  He can make you whole again.
You know this world wants to crush you and tear your soul away.
Make you think that you just can’t make it thru one more day.

So when you feel you can’t go on You’re still securely in His hands.
It’s one of those days when there’s just one set of Footprints in the sand.
When you think you’re all alone He’s the best friend you can have.

He’ll never leave you, Sometimes He seems to hide.
Lift up your heart, invite Him in You’ll find Him standing right by your side

When this world looms big and dark it still must wait for His command.

I was a 'runnin' from my Master
And I tried out every new thing I could find
But my life turned into one disaster
Without the Lord I almost blew mind

I was sittin' in the front seat
Tryin' really hard to be the driver
Thinkin' I was makin' real good time
But always windin' up the late arriver
But now I been tryin' out the back seat
And I find it is a very great relief

I went a 'runnin' every stop sign that I'd see

But I found out He don't need no help from me

What is truth / It depends who you ask
People want proof / If you want their love to last
It takes faith / to believe in something you can’t see
This makes no sense / to this world’s principalities
But there’s on thing I can be sure of / What He said to me
Hold on to My teachings / and the Truth will set you free

It’s your best friend /  or your worst enemw
It’s foolishness to those / who refuse to see
If you change onething / then the whole truth becomes a lie
The wages of sin / you will surely die – but listen
Those of us without sin /  let him cast the first stone
Cuz when it comes to righteousness / not one of us stand alone
Oh what is Truth?

The accuser tries to claim us /tries to blind our eye
Mire us in despair / yet the Truth is on out side
he knows his time is short / soon he will not stand
This I can say / with certainty / all things heed God’s command
